I say all the time that people are stupid, but don't bet against the voters. They do what's in their own interests. And clearly, a lot more independent voters are ready to move past Trump than the GOP is. They'd rather a Dem who locked them down than Trumper, who is nuts.

Can't say that I blame them because voters favor predictability. They rejected Trump because they were tired of having to check Twitter every day to see if he had started World War III. They didn't want his candidates who were as unpredictable.

They'll regret those votes after the heating bills hit this winter in PA and NH. Rs have to make sure they capitalize in that in 24.
