But then you have teacher’s unions fighting to teach it. What’s the next move?

Even though CRT isn't taught in K-12? I guess conservatives have decided they don't want to have arguments about their policy positions so its time for culture wars - CRT, wokeness, cancel culture, etc.

NEA just voted on it 5K teachers have signed the Zinn petition You're being disingenuous

It is when the candidates who are pro CRT are flooded with national union cash. Probably shouldn't have let it get to this point.

This is a naive take considering *how* school board members are elected and *how* they are funded. Does an average mom running for school board have the same funding as a union backed "Apple Endorsed" nominee? Of course not. And when these elections are lost, House reps must act.

Do you really mean CRT (the graduate-level framework for policy analysis) or do you mean American History? Because it sounds like you want to stop kids from learning American History. 1619-1964 is right out except for the feel-good stuff. And Betsy Ross for the chicks.

In some states, curricula is controlled by the State Dept of Education and the legislature. School boards have little influence.

Think bigger: This is a chance to push hard for school choice. Universal school vouchers. Fund students, not schools.
