I am sure there must be some other pathologies out there, but surely a lot of them embodied by UNIFIL. :D

* Hezbollah not disarmed * Hezbollah still south of Litani river * Leb army not in control of country Mission creep? In its total failure to implement #UNSC 1701 (2006) surely the only place the #UNIFIL mission has crept is into a hole in the ground?

When I was in Israel I met a Danish volunteer who had served in the U.N. peacekeeping force. He said that many individuals in the force would sell weapons and ammo to terror groups. This is of course anecdotal, so I can't vouch for its accuracy, but I do understand incentives.
