Marx was after all really talking about convergent instrumental goals of machines, Engels was really talking about reinvestable returns to intelligence, and Lenin was a tad obsessed with technological singularity. But people thought robota referred to workers instead of AI.

We joke, but read The Poverty of Philosophy where Marx mocked Proudhon's N'th of a pin automated workshop. It does interest me how hierarchical models keep popping up wrt increased information complexity / short term reduced entropy in the universe. Why is this?
