Sometimes I do take personally the fact that people remain imperfect *even after they've read my stuff*, like, what is wrong with my writing skills

I try to keep an open mind on such things, just not so open that the wind whistles through the gap.

Well, you know the old saying, "*You* are the only common denominator in all of your failed relationships." If you teach one person and they're still not perfect, it could be their fault, but if you teach many people and they're still not perfect, it must be your own fault.

I never make such assumptions as they require me to assume first that my perceptions are relating to reality & not a contrived narrative. I find no convincing evidence that differentiates the two. If it feels down to Occam's razor I'd grow a beard.
