Tomorrow = the 37th anniversary of Rev Rul 85-13, the Reagan-era IRS decision laying the foundation for most estate-tax avoidance strategies Would be a great day for President Biden to direct the IRS Commissioner to rescind the ruling. (Any day would be a great day for that!) 1/

House just passed Postal Service Reform Act 342-92 (120 Rs sided w/Ds). It's a big deal because it gets rid of the 'prefunding mandate' - the req that USPS set aside billions to prefund retiree health care costs. If Senate follows suit, I won't have to explain that ever again.

  17. Just asked IOC president Thomas Bach why he has said nothing about the sexual assault allegation made by Peng Shuai. He replied, “If she wants to have an inquiry, we would support her in this.” That’s something, but still so weak compared to WTA, which has demanded investigation.
