Bold of them to assume it was ever a paradise to begin with....the entire reason why fire and mudslides are an issue are to over-development, human expansion, and the destruction of the environment in favor of building more homes / real estate.

It isn't bold. This isn't hyperbole. Paradise is the *actual* name of the town that burned. Please have some empathy for the thousands of people who have lost everything. (also, for reference https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paradise_Lost …)

I would, if you didn't literally just assume or strawman my tweet into something it isn't. Commenting on the factual reasons why these tires occur =/= no empathy. Though I don't understand why anyone would choose to live in a major fire zone...

My home barely survived the Carr Fire. Not in a “fire zone.” Please, you’re welcome to your opinions. I simply caution to take into consideration the emotions of people who’ve not only lost homes, but have lost community and most likely friends.

@cjbergstrom13 - I'm so glad to hear your house survived. I have family & friends who were also evacuated in the Carr fire. Sadly one of their houses didn't make it & another friend's parent's house burned in Santa Rosa last year.
