We're facing a safety crisis on our roads—especially in Tribal communities. Investments from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law are making it possible for to help improve road safety on Tribal lands. Everyone deserves to get where they are going safely.

Today, we held a business meeting in the EPW Committee to adopt our rules for the 118th Congress. One change that I’m proud of is eliminating the requirement to print 100 copies of witness testimony for our hearings. This small change will help eliminate waste and save trees. 🌳

From the Clean Air Act to the Inflation Reduction Act, Congress has reaffirmed California's authority to set ambitious vehicle-emissions standards for over 50 years. The D.C. Circuit should reject this effort to turn back the clock on these clean air and climate protections.

I commend the Biden administration for their dedication to developing a WOTUS rule that is based on science and built around consensus. My hope is that this new definition of our nation’s water will prove to be durable.
