Yes, and I completely trust this new climate-change-denying EPA to determine whether a polluted site is safe for habitation.

Uh. Just because you delete it from a list doesn’t mean it’s clean. Anyone can hit the Delete button. Removing hazards takes long arduous work.

This is bologna. When you reduce requirements for cleanup, it's not hard to say it's done! It's like me telling the kids all they have to do to clean the kitchen after dinner is do the dishes. Never mind the pots/pans, wiping counters, stove, & put away food.

I have ZERO faith that, under Pruitt, these sites are anywhere NEAR clean. Prove it and go live by one.

We note the disparity of terms: is 'deleting' not the same action as 'delisting'? Does it require the same diligence, or is it just Pruitt's goons erasing their buddies' land off the board?

Aaaaand there it is.... "Deleting a site or portions of a site from the NPL may facilitate future redevelopment, one of EPA’s goals for the Superfund program." Looks like @EPAScottPruitt's crooked Oklahoma banker friend has his priorities right where you would imagine.

What are you doing about the decaying asbestos containing material in all the homes and other buildings in this country? We have a major public health crisis and it’s being buried.

the EPA administrator, is rolling back key public health protections, like the Clean Power Plan & a scheduled ban of the toxic pesticide chlorpyrifos.Pesticide companies, like Monsanto & Dow Chemical, are exercising influence on the EPA, trying to weaken pesticide regulations.

Hmmm, but how do we know that you’ve actually gotten all this work done so quickly, vs just rubber stamping completion, removing them from the list, and calling it good so development can proceed? Call me cynical, but I smell a rat...

Ah, fondly recalling how EVERY SINGLE OTHER EPA Administrator never used EPA social media to self-reference for personal self-promotional purposes. Scott Pruitt just never tires of mentioning himself.

Seriously. Let’s also enact some legislation to prevent pollution and preserve clean air, water, and land

Delisting these sites in 2017 is based on work that was done over the past many years.

How will anyone know the site has really been cleaned up and not just removed from a list? Trump appointees cannot be trusted

Wow - you are taking credit for the actual cleanup heavy lifting done years ago. Wow... you really don’t care that these sites are cleaned up - only that your corporate donors can now get access to them and pollute again.

Since Pruitt has sued the EPA before becoming its Dept. head for going too far, I don't believe all the sites that were delisted were in fact cleaned up properly.
