Somewhere in one of the Aubrey-Maturin novels by Patrick O'Brian, one of those two (Captain Aubrey or Dr. Maturin) describes tea as a "thin wash." That's how I find it. I tried to learn to like tea--and have had it prepared by a couple of connoisseurs. Still just a thin wash.
