According to the author... ''In fact, I was obliged to do the opposite: to honor the moral wisdom of my own conscience over the teaching of my church." This is what she believes is the RCC's definition of 'informed conscience'. This is patently untrue.

"Intellectual" garbage. Cafeteria Catholicism is why we lay people need to shut up when it comes to doctrine, it is not our right, if it conforms to proper Tradition. No wonder that prophesies of St. Francis of Assisi complained of a multiplication of opinions.
