@realDonaldTrump's strategy is to maximize the threat to intimidate his negotiation partner (#Iran) into making concessions. The problem with this strategy is there is no Plan B. If one threat does not work, Trump piles on another threat.

Meanwhile, Iran uses the escalating hostilities to convince its dissenting populace to rally around the crumbling theocracy. The Iran problem is one that will sort itself out given enough time and measured economic pressure. But we are ruled by the MIC so peace is not an option.
