No, it has to do with the Incarnation infusing a sense of order in the universe that can act on its own as a form of secondary causality. This never developed in Islam which was plagued by Occasionalism and the idea that God acts in the universe directly whenever anything happens

For devlopment of science no need to understand the Trinity. So many scientific inventions happened way before Christianity. Take astrology as example. Science will keep developing even in the absence of christianity. Christianity days flat is earth.
