Possibly it seems I only exist to get people excited about lipstick and skincare, but I also write books and here is one you could read, I hear it's pretty good:

Cover of DESIRE LINES by Elizabeth Kingston shows midsection of woman in medieval dress holding a dagger. Also includes excerpt from Chapter One

I love that the word "discourse" bequeaths its given subject a certain air of scholarly debate when it's like "antifa took Lola Bunny's rack from us"

It is true that no one knows how well a book will sell in the long run -- but then no one knows how well they will sell in the short run, either. Authors should have the opportunity to benefit from their work whenever (and if ever) it generates income, certainly in their life.

Four “Royal experts” who are lukewarm to hostile on give their take on the Oprah interview, acting as though they’ve watched it, when they haven’t. Are all of Meghan and Harry’s critics this reliable?

A vote against a $15 minimum wage is a vote to keep people in poverty. That was not a moderate vote. That was not a conservative vote. That “NO” vote in the Senate was an oppressive vote.

More fundamentally, I as an author create a thing. It is mine. It is my asset, which I can let rust if I want - or take out for a spin when I'm 95 years old. It should be mine to do with what I want, when I want, and no one should be allowed to take my property away just because.

I want people to realize that artists of all kinds are not under some kind of geas to produce exactly the same sort of art over and over again just because a particular work of theirs rose to prominence, and that artists are absolutely allowed to offer earlier works if they want.

Hm. This is actually a fairly outdated look at things. It's quite common these days for authors to request their rights back if sales reach zero for a certain period. Those authors then repackage their old books and see new sales from new readers. It's a thing, Timothy.
