But then it gets worse, because the President’s actions touch on everything: the economy, foreign policy, trade, etc. etc., and so even non-political Bloomberg coverage is tied in some way, shape or form to Trump, who is a Bloomberg rival.

And so, while it’s not ideal, the best available option is to undo the ban on Bloomberg News investigations into Bloomberg or his Democratic rivals. Because if the case Bloomberg News is making is that it’s impartial, then it can be impartial in going about those investigations.

If Bloomberg News not investigating Democrats is a problem, isn’t there also a big conflict of interest allowing sitting Senators who are running against Trump to sit in judgement of him during an impeachment trial in the Senate? Shouldn’t they have to recuse themselves?
