What would your solutions for safer schools, less or no school shootings be? And I think this topic is getting tougher to control due to copy cat/ celebrity status thoughts of the killers...
Getting the federal government out of education would be a start, and allowing qualified staff to carry if they so choose would be a great addition. *Public schools are not intended to be mental healthcare treatment centers and are not responsible for raising children.

I agree with this, except I would like to see extra police in schools vs armed teachers. This is based on the teachers I know in our school system, and differs from others. I disagree that it is all a mental health issue. It is a multi problem issue. Guns included.

The day armed agents of the government are allowed inside a school is the day we become the 21st century Weimar. Not no, but hell no to that idea. Nothing like conditioning children to think that is OK. It’s definitely not. Guns are not the issue, period.
