So your answer to mass school shootings is... ban playgrounds...makes sense. Gun control, safer, more protected schools, better mental health care..non issues... playgrounds, those fields of death, are the issues....
The comparison was not to encourage banning playgrounds. It was to inject actual data into an emotionally driven topic. Emotionally led arguments make for poor decisions. And these type of issues should be managed by the citizens in each State w/out federal influence.

The comparison also seems to mask the issue. It sounds like..don’t worry about guns, or school shootings, playgrounds are more dangerous....probably not what you actually meant. But sounded more like that.
