Again, context: There are over 140,000 campuses and more than 50 million students across 50 States. Statistically playgrounds are more of an issue than guns. Guns are not only a non-issue, they are none of the federal’s business.

So your answer to mass school shootings is... ban playgrounds...makes sense. Gun control, safer, more protected schools, better mental health care..non issues... playgrounds, those fields of death, are the issues....

The comparison was not to encourage banning playgrounds. It was to inject actual data into an emotionally driven topic. Emotionally led arguments make for poor decisions. And these type of issues should be managed by the citizens in each State w/out federal influence.

There have been at least 10 school shootings in 2018, with 33 deaths, and more than 20 others injured. Banning swing sets isn’t going to help this. Extra resource officers, better mental health care, more strict gun control for this under 18 all might help.

All mental healths issues, not gun issues. Stay focused and stop looking for a way to strip the right of self defense from your neighbors. In Texas no one under 18 can legally purchase a gun, so...
