Students across TX are starting back to school & many choosing “in person” learning are being illegally required to wear a mask.
FYI: School superintendents, school boards, the TEA, and the governor of Texas, do not have the authority to enforce this nonsense.

No, most people do not have a choice, and Governor Santa Abbott doesn’t have the power to give ISDs powers not given to them by the legislature.

He’s not “allowing “ it. That’s the way it is. ABC ISD can set their own policies while XYZ ISD can have a completely different one. Everyone certainly has a choice. That’s what a free society is. If u don’t like your circumstances, change them.

They change when challenged. Always. They don’t have this power and it isn’t even arguable. They will lose once they are called on it.

Most districts donor have virtual as an option. The majority of school districts are small and rural without the infrastructure needed. Ours is one.
