“We’re”? How virtuous if you. He doesn’t have the authority. What part of that do you not understand?

All I’m saying, Mr. Stovall, is I ask myself, Am I my brother’s keeper? And if wearing a mask can spare someone pain, illness or a costly hospital visit, then I would hope we’d be willing to do that for others.

That’s wonderful, but that has nothing to do with the question being asked. Do you really want an elected official forcing you to wear a garment or to stay away from people? This is about power; who has it, and what are their limits. Abbott is totally out of his lane.

The government makes me wear pants in public. I don’t have an issue with that either. I suppose I don’t view it as someone taking my power or freedom away. This is a circumstance where I’m asked to help others and I am willing. There’s no need to condescend to me for disagreeing.
