The government makes me wear pants in public. I don’t have an issue with that either. I suppose I don’t view it as someone taking my power or freedom away. This is a circumstance where I’m asked to help others and I am willing. There’s no need to condescend to me for disagreeing.
My intention is not to be condescending. I apologize. The fact is you are not being asked. If that were the case, no one would care. This is a circumstance where the governor of Texas is shuttering businesses, throttling the economy, and issuing dictatorial edicts - all illegally

Thank you, Mr. Stovall. People get so argumentative, it makes it hard to ask questions. So, you’re not debating whether efficacy of masks but saying the Gov’s order supersedes his authority? I thought exec orders in a way, do that?

Executive orders must be in accordance with the execution of laws passed by the legislature. Meaning they have to be pursuant to implementing a particular law passed by our representatives. EOs that are created out of thin air, for the whims of a governor, have no standing.
