Totally unnecessary. Just allow law enforcement to do their job, and allow citizens to protect their property.
No sane Texan would ever - EVER - support using the U.S. Military to put down protesters, vandals, and thieves in Texas.

Which is the problem. Police are not allowed to do their job including defend themselves. Some big city police departments are controlled by liberal federal judges. Not sure how you fix that while under siege from rioters.

Absolutely agreed! Law enforcement is well equipped to deal with this if the politicians would allow them to do their jobs. Texas citizens are also fully capable of protecting each other and dealing with terrorists. Martial law is NOT the way to go. You can't unring that bell.
