The Constitution is a restraint on the Federal Government. It tells the government what it can and can’t do. It doesn’t tell the people what we can and can’t do.

I think you would agree that the Constitution limits the federal in no serious way whatsoever. Moreover, there’s a compelling argument to be made that it has been weaponized to perpetuate bigger and bigger government.

it's ignored, but given lip service to justify the increase of power in DC. any document likely meant to limit government would be given the same treatment.
