Alex, Dwayne is correct about the Bill of Rights. It is only applied to the federal government. The idea that the BoR was incorporated is a Progressive myth.

Unless you or anyone else here can point to which piece of Progressive philosophy this point of view correlates to, then please stop using the word Progressive, because you don't understand what it means.

The Democratic party platform is premised on 4 morally relativistic & authoritarian philosophies, which are Utilitarianism, Pragmatism (Progressivism), Marxism, & Postmodernism (NeoMarxism). The belief that States possess Rights over individuals is a Leftist view.

He didn't say states possessed rights over individuals, he said it was the states, not the Federal Government, that were supposed to make decisions about gun regulations, etc. Incorporation means federal judges make such decisions. That's what happens now.
