Democracy is the opposite of a Republican form of representative government. The more we suffer from Democracy the more we centralize power, and the further removed we become from the Constitution of the United States.

Definitions are important. Many have thought Democracy is the U. S. Form of government. The States united established a democratic (meaning the people vote) Republic. Many patriots at the time of our Union understood the failures of Democracies in Europe.
The Framers of the Constitution all knew the failings of Democracy and they each worked to try and avoid it. The original States were already suffering from too much “Democracy” when they met in Philadelphia.
