Actually the big bang was just a term coined by someone who tried to disprove the theory. The name stuck but in no way reflects what is actually stated. To be so ignorant on a subject you decide to try and belittle is quite sad really

That is exactly what is taught. Quantum fluctuation that results in infintesmal region that expands to current existence (Big bang theory), is literally what he just said, in layman's terms.
