What are your thoughts on the Note 10 series dropping the headphone jack?

The note is the power user phone. It Should have all the features that you can cram inside a phone. Removing things like the headphone jack or sd card is just stupid. Also lowering the resolution to 1080 is the worst idea Samsung ever had.

They also took away the ir blaster. With as many gadgets as people have, that feature is so useful

Because the old tech is better. Wired cans don't need to be charged. Wired ALWAYS provides higher quality audio. BT codec conflicts. Signal interference.

Extremely annoyed is too strong but am a tad annoyed. Enough room for a S-pen so it's not a phone thickness issue. Seems like they dropped it just to drop it and push more people to wireless headphones/earbuds.

I agree. I am using Note 9 and was so wishing for Note10+. A headphone jack would have made it a COMPLETE PHONE again but... Anyway. These phone manufacturers shd understand that users are ok with adding little thickness to the phone but SHOULD NOT remove the imp components.

Don't care for it on the Note specifically.. but the trend that just keeps reinforcing itself.. it's worrying. I'm old school no matter how efficient Bluetooth technology gets.

        Wireless will always have drawbacks.
