@TeamYouTube Question: why do I need to hit the notification bell to be told when content creators I'm subscribed to are live or uploaded a new video? Why can't I just see who I'm subscribed to in my feed since I am obviously interested in their content?

It provides more options! Someone might want to see all videos in their subs feed, but not get notified about every upload from every single subscription (especially if they have A LOT). The bell gives channel-level options: receive none, occasional, or all notifications.

No, it's unnecessary filtration and algorithm-based dilution. A lot of people like myself don't get notified of the content of those we follow until hours later, if at all. I'd rather have ALL of my feed show up and let me decide what I want to watch, because I SUBSCRIBED to them
