i worked at hobby lobby in high school and they didn鈥檛 use barcodes for anything so sometimes i鈥檇 ring up $30 whatevers as $3 if an old lady told me i had nice skin

They sound like my pie ladies! When I was waitressing a group of ancient ladies would come on Tuesdays, order cups of tea and a slice of pie, and then sit and gossip for hours. They would each leave me a dime for a tip.
