Women who can hack is obviously deserve drives. But attacking another women's job and restricting her freedom is not justified by female drivers getting treated "unfairly". That's cutting off your nose to spite your face.

But what you're too thick to understand is that as long as the culture of sexism represented by grid girls is perpetuated, F1 won't be able to recruit women, and so gets stuck in a vicious circle of declining audiences & paranoid attitudes. In many ways, WEC & FE show way forward

The two are inextricably linked! All part of a sexist culture that permeates throughout F1. Overwhelmingly male audience, women put off by objectification which is the sole job of the women in F1, no commercial pressure for women to be brought into the sport - self-perpetuating!

Ahh but see Beth, in Richard's mind any decent woman would be put off by 'objectification'. And if you're not, you're just a 'stupid slut' who can't be trusted to make her own decisions. He knows exactly how a woman should think and feel.

It's not about "decent" women. It's about how ACTUAL WOMEN ACTUALLY PERCEIVE IT AS THEY ACTUALLY EXPRESS IN THE ACTUAL WORLD.

And like I've said, darling, the majority of women I've spoken to don't give a shit about it. They can take grid girls or leave them. Seeing a pretty girl on a race track doesn't fracture a woman's self esteem. How weak do you think women are?

The grid girls are clearly of a mentality that doesn't mind being objectified - but, in the 21st century, they too are a minority...
