    Before becoming a father I didn’t realize that babies are basically buggy robots, and parenting a small child is mostly debugging. My doctor wife knows how babies are supposed to work, and as a techie I bring debugging skills. This has turned out to be more fun than expected.

    1/ While I can appreciate that it's an indicator of growth in DeFi (which I am very bullish on), I think "Eth locked in Defi" is a bad metric. It's more a symptom of the overcollateralization requirements –– read: capital inefficiency –– than anything else.

    Bitcoin has definitely benefited from this prolonged bull market. It provided investors, specially retail, with excess profits to invest in one of the most innovative and hence, most risky, assets of all time.

    While governments and central banks have been manipulating the economy into the longest bull market in history, Bitcoin was still the best performing asset of the last decade. No matter how hard they try, the fiat systems can’t beat a truly scarce, globally desirable asset.
