In the last 30 years the highest share of the Black vote any Republican got was Bob Dole's 12% in 1996. It is simply not possible for a Republican nominee to crack double digits these days.https://twitter.com/maggieNYT/status/1232761434091720706 …

George W. Bush is the last nominee to crack double digits and he got just 11% of the Black vote.

Looking at the swing from 2004-2016, a lot changed in those 12 years. The upper midwest and Appalachia swung rightward while the west and southeastern US swung towards Clinton. Clinton also made large gains in the MS Delta and the Black belt. pic.twitter.com/JlOkmximEp

Look at the swing in the Mississippi Delta region, the Black belt, the Atlanta metro area, and then try to tell me Trump can win Black voters.

If Parscale's campaign is anything like his rhetoric the campaign is going to be a disaster.

Depends on the nominee. Against sanders or Biden you’re definitely right. Have you seen the polls against Buttigieg though? One said he would get 27% support among black men

I was talking to a Colleague who is a Trump supporter and thinks Trump will get 30 percent of the AA vote. I didn’t let any expression come to my face, but I was thinking... what?

I think it’s an attempt to convince themselves that they’re not racist. Same reason they like Clarence Thomas.
