It took a lot of effort for Rivian to let me behind closed doors, but I finally got invited to their Chicago Service Center. If you're seeing more trucks/SUVs on the road than ever, here's how it's happening.

The first production Tesla rolled off the line 15 years ago today, igniting an EV revolution. But it's uncharted waters ahead with Chinese competition, self-driving tech challenges, Twitter, robotaxis, and more.

"Today, it’s a given that there will be fewer gas cars on the road tomorrow, perhaps barely any. That means people can start asking a much more interesting question: Should conventional cars be replaced at all?" Nice work
EVs will work for everyone in the sense they will go from point A to point B (in style). But in reality, they still aren't the BEST choice for all lifestyles. Check out my biggest learnings from driving one around Chicago for a month.

Volvo C40 out here modeling it’s wheels, winning the award for best backup cam. But the Electrify America station said 150kW charging rate, yet the text I got after said it peaked at 57kW. Anyone know why that would be so much lower? Am I reading wrong?

After a couple of quiet years, CES roared back to life in 2023, delivering equal parts refinement and innovation. These are the products and technologies we most look forward to testing in the year ahead. pcmag.com/news/the-best-

The CTO of just told me at a round table discussion that all new EV chargers in their network will have clean energy. If the local utility has electricity from coal, for example, they will buy solar/wind elsewhere. pcmag.com/news/mercedes- #CES2023

Got good look at OshKosh US Post Office delivery EV. It is somehow uglier in person but seems highly functional. I'm sure buying a bunch of Ford E-Transits would be way too easy and inexpensive for DeJoy's administration.
