though my disdain for biden being the dem pick remains, i'm relieved that we've made it to an administration that will actually send federal aid california when the big one hits

God, don't remind me that that's still lingering over our heads here T-T We've been prepared for years.. I really hope things will be alright, but ever since Trump de-funded everything, I haven't been able to track earthquake activity properly. All the programs went down.
The complete disregard for Californians during the several wildfires (and Puerto Rico) were just such blatant demonstrations of spite. If we were abandoned to a relatively easy disaster to recover from like fires, how could we expect help for something huge?

Yeah. It was.. REALLY awful. I used to live in one of the cities just above the border of Cali and we got a lot of the refugees there. We can't condone this "If you didn't vote for me you suffer" attitude from Presidents ever again. Should be grounds for impeachment.
