realtalk tho what happens to shadowlands spirits when theyre k!lled (not ur "living" character, but say, the kyrians who fall in battle?) do u just. stop existing at that point? like afterlife is literally just life 2.0 and after THAT one ur gone?

Seconding this, I’m pretty sure s few NPCs state that you simply fade into oblivion. Probably become pure anima or something?
When you kill a lot of shadowlands npcs they say some iteration of "don't forget me", really rubbing in the finality of that death! Memory is all that will be left of them.
