not to gatekeep forsaken identity or whatever but a forsaken leader being anything but the first (scourge) generation of undead rubs me incredibly wrong. they're the only ones who really understand the initial abhorrence/rejection of the living.

I am hesitant to dismiss it outright without giving them a chance.
I'll never be outright dismissive of something yet to come but I do struggle to have faith in a story that has really suffered from telling, not showing.

LOL yeah I know, blizzard's storytelling can be hit or miss. I get the feeling that Blizzard has plans for Calia. Hopefully not something so base as "She is a good person because she is sparkly and lightly uwu therefore she should lead the forsaken"

But considering how sinister the Light has been acting lately, there still rests the possibility of something like that flaring up. Basically, Blizzard has a canvas, let's see what they do with it.
