the dragon grind was soul-crushing dude lmao, i'm sure it at least contributed to quitting for over a year. if they bring back the system they NEED to make rewards purchasable for large amounts of tokens, even if it's really expensive
i agree with most criticism people have for BfA except for one: i actually love islands and i miss having people willing to throw a couple hours here and there into farming them. the reward system can be improved and they sort of did that with the crates? idk. they're fun to me.

I wish the grind were slightly less onerous because I really, really enjoy mindlessly doing Islands for hours. If I knew people who were willing to log in and do Mythics I'd be delighted, they're easy enough to autopilot that you can sit on Discord and gab at the same time.

This goes for a lot of games, horde-modes can be a lot of fun because you just get to -play- your character without thinking about much of anything else and without too much pressure to perform.

It's true lmao. I get to push buttons, do big numbers, not worry about coordinating anything, mentally check out, and still pretty continuously get new or valuable stuff for it.
