I'm genuinely shocked at how many responses were along the lines of "I wouldn't be here right now". Thankfully you all still are, and found what you needed to keep on fighting!

So, random question - have you ever wondered how you'd be if you weren't in the fandom? Looking back at the friends and memories, it's had such a positive influence. Sure it's not always great (and sometimes a bit weird), but on the whole feel like I'd be worse off without it.

No need. My entire end of high school & college time was me screeching how I wasn't a furry. I even stopped drawing for a while too. It wasn't fun.

Absolutely agree with this. Without this fandom I never would have had the strength to transition, they were the first people to take me seriously as the person I said I was. Without this group of lovely people I don't know where I would be at all.

I'm not a furry but i do respect and support the community because from what i have seen you are just wholesome and trying to live your best life. I'm really glad you have a community of support and friends and you don't have to change for anyone!
