If this “new policy” is being enforced, then do you really think it’s gonna help small creators who are into gaming and stream games to stay on YouTube? (Sarcasm) And to top it all off, when we get a strike, we can’t stream YouTube, so what, you don’t want us to stream on Twitch
Wow @TeamYouTube & @YouTube,
Really?!
This is ridiculous!
You claim that promoting “We’re live on twitch” “violates” spam policy, but then reply that’s okay to do so.
I genuinely ask: Why are you such a bunch of hypocrites?https://twitter.com/linustech/status/1008752236027973632 …

But then we can’t stream on YouTube, so what the heck do you suppose we do then, huh? Like to see how the employee at YouTube answers this tweet, assuming if you really do care about the streaming (and YouTube) community!

@TeamYouTube@YouTube One last thing, I understand the issue of spam and violating those terms, BUT it shouldn’t apply if the channel itself is promoting their own stream IN THEIR OWN VIDEO ON THEIR OWN CHANNEL, not in comment sections of others. Is it that hard to understand?Show this thread
