Thank you, Attorney-General Mark Dreyfus, for taking sexual abuse seriously at a national level.
Thank you to our team, and to the Attorneys-General for listening.

We live in an attention-based economy, and we need to be careful who we give it to. You all muted or blocked M*rk L*tham for good reason, right? Unless you're a skilled satirist, consider the same for C*navan and others whose entire existence is based on baiting you

Do I know any sound engineers/people who might be able to help me get the best quality recording using my home gear? Just like, listen to a bit, tell me what stuff to tweak? I'll pay you of course.

Aging and defunct coal-burning power plants across the U.S. are getting new lives as solar, battery and other renewable energy projects β partly because they are already wired into the power grid.

SMH editorial: βPM Anthony Albaneseβs eight-day trip to Europe over the past week was no holiday β he visited a war zone β and used every day to promote vital Australian interestsβ. Comparing it to Scott Morrisonβs Hawaiian holiday is nonsense

What do YOU need on this holiday? How about patriotic vultures at the bird bath?! At least temporarily, as dead armadillo deadens, turkey vultures (and one black vulture) have started using the bird bath down in the ravine. Never thought I'd see this. #VanderWild

Is this posted with any degree of self awareness whatsoever about the wasted years of climate inaction of which this bloke was one of the key architects?

Then you're really going to be shocked when you look up how many ships and sailing vessels carry that name.
People like naming vessels, "old workhorse."

Whoah now, minding my own business listening to #Rush's 'Cygnus X-1', and having recently watched #TheExpanse, suddenly hear Geddy give it "On my ship the Rocinate..". Now that can't be a coincidence can it? I get the Don Quixote reference but two spaceships called that!? No way.

Olsen will get it because Marvel is a juggernaut but I think Shohreh deserves it. Strength and power without any of it needing to be because of her ability to commit physical violence and all of it wrapped in grace and class.

Media tropes of perps as βgood guysβ or βevil psychotic monstersβ have not helped our understanding of domestic & family violence.
As Tom Meagher, husband of Jill Meagher, wrote back in 2014:
βWe must not forget most violence against women is perpetratedβ¦by men they know.β

In February 2020, #HannahClarke was killed by her husband Rowan Baxter who burned her alive. He did the same to her children.
At the time, he was recognised in the media as a "good man" and "good father. Men who murder their families are NOT, and will NEVER BE, good men.

I haven't threatened that anywhere. I've said I want to be constructive but wasn't elected to be a rubber stamp for the government which means scrutinising + consulting. Crossbench senators have had min. 2 parliamentary staff since 2010 while govt staff has gone from 368 to 481.
