Not only is it an unethical move, as it would harm the livelihoods of dozens of creators, but it's also a poor business decision, as @YouTube would lose a large audience(DIY&craft).
I understand the fear of losing this gross "family friendly" façade YouTube's put on, but come on

While we're at it, art channels can be pretty colorful. What if the artist is drawing a recognizable character, or using kids' art supplies to make something grand? It's a disgusting neverending loop of vile executives pandering to parents who don't want to raise their own kids.
