    A visual "dehumanisation" of asylum seekers, coupled with bipartisan support for offshore processing, ensured policy continuity in 🇦🇺 But constitutional obligations towards migrants, constant reminders of migrants' deaths, & political debates made the 🇮🇹 approach more complex
