While WHO's effort in promoting Health for All is commendable, it is strongly urged to prevent the unwarranted political interference in the global health cooperation. WHO should be health-centered, instead of politics-driven. Professionalism should prevail. Hopefully!

ALL countries MUST also have a considered voice in how they choose to reach the important goal you describe. The imposition of the will & priorities of a handful of nations has to stop, if under-funded health budgets are not to be fatally skewed. WHO is central to such democracy.

Even more unacceptable has been the imposition of the priorities of private, global charities on the economically weaker WHO states. Clearly, WHO HQ & Regions need to take on a stronger stewardship role. Protocols enabling respectful political & cultural engagement needed.
