Hope one of the reforms considered will be stipends/salaries for interns. Until then, these internships will remain beyond the reach of most young and bright public health professionals and only a privileged few will benefit.

Until internships are paid they are a stain on the reputation of the WHO, not something to boast about. The organisation has a multi-billion dollar budget, find the funding or can the programme..
