There are urban poor as well & people living in cities, especially informal settlements, can be just as lacking in safe water & sanitation as those in rural areas. Action is needed by governments and municipalities to provide WASH services to ALL & bring sustainable solutions!
Today is #WorldWaterDay. Safe water, sanitation and hygiene should not be a privilege of only those who are rich or live in urban centres. These are basics for health. To ensure #HealthForAll, we need to redouble efforts to make sure people have access to safe water.
