Sir, in your great wisdom you praised the Ayushman Bharat scheme in India where a hospital is supposed to provide for major hepatic resection for 350 USD. As a cancer surgeon , I see potentially curative cases being relegated to palliative care.
I request you to read the scheme threadbare before giving your approval. It is designed to provide lip service and would prevent competent doctors to provide care to patients. Your approval thwarts our efforts to call the Govt. Bluff which spends only 1.2 %Gdp on health.
