Yes the percent who mistrust vaccines is small but they are in general wealthy and powerful. We must not be complacent and remind people every day that vaccines are critical in preventing disease and improving health.

The key word is ‘suspected’ - monitoring systems are designed to detect ‘events’ after vaccination - the vast majority turn out after investigation to be completely unrelated to the vaccine and due to another cause.

I'm astounded that The United States, Japan, Switzerland, France, some of the worlds largest economies, are where they are. It's quite shameful to be honest and doesn't only represent a failure on the part of the average citizen but also the medical and political establishments.
