I wonder how that works if offshore wind is assumed to have a capacity factor of 44% as given as the current average by http://energynumbers.info/uk-offshore-wind-capacity-factors …, and not the 66% given in that calculation.

new offshore will def have higher load factor than old – bigger turbines, further from shore etc 66% may be high but 44% def too low

Be careful - costs of storage included? Intermittancy has a cost, not so high as pro-nukers say but some. Plus good Biomass solid output could be increased via 20-30MW scale CHP units
