  1. Finally, if you know a child who is really struggling, please go to your GP (or in an emergency, straight to A&E to see the mental health liaison teams there). Don't hesitate. Early intervention can change the whole course of a life.

  2. are all the rage, and I do like them. HOWEVER they only work if an adult sits down the next day to think about the worries with you. The worry monster on its own can't get rid of the child's worry - it simply postpones it until they can get some help!

  9. Kooth - free, safe and anonymous online support for young people. Great for kids who are more comfortable online than on the phone or in person. Chat to someone Mon-Fri 12pm-10pm, and Sat- Sun 6pm-10pm
