The narrative that Black parents don't care about their kids' education is anti-Black. Plenty of Black kids grow up in very Black homes with an intentional learning culture. Learning isn't non-Black, and Black culture isn't anti-learning.

This morning, I was in the #garden thinking that my late planting schedule was even later this year. We all can be consumed by being “so late or behind schedule” that we don’t ask ourselves if maybe we’re “right on time”. #gardenreflections
